To Our Future Tenants:
Thank you for inquiring about Edgewood
Townhouses and Hidden Valley Apartments. We strive to keep all of our
units in good condition and keep our tenants satisfied. The following is
information to help you in the process of getting ready to move
in.
MAIL SERVICE
If you rent an apartment or a new townhouse
from us, you will need to rent a Postal Mailbox in order to receive your
mail. You can do this at Fort Leonard Wood, St. Robert or Waynesville post offices. Please inquire
at one of these locations for rental terms and amounts. If you rent an
older townhouse there are rural style mailboxes for your convenience
located at the front of the townhouse complex on Vickie Lynn
Lane.
UTILITIES
To get your utilities turned on, you will
need to go to the St. Robert
City Complex Utilities Department located at 194 Eastlawn Avenue,
St. Robert, Missouri. Their telephone number is 573-451-2000. Your
deposit for renting an apartment will be $150.00. The deposit for
renting a townhouse will be $200.00. These costs are subject to change
without notice. These services will be activated the same day providing
you pay your deposit prior to 2:00 PM.
GARBAGE COLLECTION
Garbage collection at the Townhouses is done
on Wednesday mornings by Zeigenbein Sanitation Company. All garbage must
be in bags and containers. The container should be moved to the outer
edge of the parking pad in front of your townhouse by 9:00 AM. If you
have a problem or question please call the St. Robert City Hall at
573-451-2000 or Zeigenbein Sanitation Company at
573-336-4848.
TELEPHONE SERVICE
Local telephone service is provided by Embarq. The customer service department number is
866-304-6820. The activation can usually be done over the telephone.
Deposits for telephone activation varies per customer. Service
connection takes between 3 hours and 2 business days. It is important
that we have a telephone number in order to reach you in the event of an
emergency. This can be a home, work, or cell phone number of your
choice.
CABLE TELEVISION
The local cable television company is Cable
America. Their telephone number is 573-336-5284. Basic cable (channels
2-13) costs about $10.00 per month and your installation fee would be
$30.00. Cable Plus (channels 2-57) costs about $38.00 per month and your
installation would be free. They also offer special channels such as
HBO, SHOWTIME, etc. at various rates. These services and prices are
subject to change and are not a part of Farris Brothers Investment
Company.
INTERNET SERVICE
There are many Internet Service Providers in
our local area that offer high speed Internet access and basic dialup
service. Check the yellow pages for a listing of providers in our
area.
